Teams
Organize stations and control access with teams.
Overview
Teams allow you to organize your test stations into logical groups. This is useful for:
- Supplier access control: Give suppliers access only to their assigned stations
- Department organization: Group stations by production line, facility, or team
- Visibility management: Control which data team members can see
Create a Team
Navigate to Settings > Members and scroll to the Teams section.
Click Create Team and enter a name for your team.
The team will appear in the list and can now be assigned to stations and members.
Assign Stations to Teams
Each station can be assigned to one team:
- Owners, Admins, Developers: See all stations regardless of team
- Viewers without teams: See all stations
- Viewers with teams: See only their teams' stations
To assign a station to a team:
Go to Stations and select the station you want to assign.
In the station settings, select the team from the dropdown.
Save changes. The station is now visible only to that team's members (plus admins and developers).
Assign viewers to teams to restrict their access. Viewers without team assignments can see all stations.
Assign Members to Teams
Members can belong to multiple teams. To add a member to a team:
Navigate to Settings > Members.
Find the member in the list and click the actions menu.
Select Manage Teams and check the teams you want to assign.
Owners and admins automatically have access to all teams and don't need to be explicitly assigned.
Delete a Team
To delete a team:
Navigate to Settings > Members and find the team in the Teams section.
Click the actions menu and select Delete.
Confirm the deletion. Stations become unassigned (visible to all viewers). Members lose access to team-restricted data.
